His alleged “letter to the feds” where he “states plainly” that he was working alone is a bit too lady-doth-protest-too-much to me. To be a fly on the wall at Karen & Marc’s house….😳
I also would love to know what the plan was after December 4….the Feds letter, in my opinion, was written prior to that date. Like many others, I don’t understand pulling off this hit and then keeping all of the incriminating evidence on your person. And why on earth was he in Altoona? Something is off about it all. One of the first things I remember Thomas Dickey saying in a press interview was that the selective journal leaks were “out of context.” I hope one day the public is able to see what else Luigi wrote because I would love to know what he has to say.
The letter felt haphazard and like a poorly written satire of that kind of responsibility-taking letter. I also feel that the excerpts from the journal that we've seen read like lines from an awful Tom Clancy-esque novel. None of it reads as authentic. But at the same time none of it reads as high-effort imitation, either. Which suggests haste, to me. If I were to make this into the plot for a novel, I'd say this detail suggests the question of who was going to take responsibility for an act within a cell was still up in the air until the last minute.
I don't have a theory so much as several speculative plot lines. I'm going to share a couple of those in the next few weeks. Again, not theories, just food for thought.
i, too, think other people may have been involved. as for who and how--that's really just some theory of mine and i won't get into it here. But I think Luigi was working with others and it's kind of agreed upon between them that he doesn't reveal who those people are.

I agree with you completely. The question is whether LM has shared any details of those months with his legal team.
